“Hold my hand because I might disappear.”

What can be changed and what can't be unchanged?

I've always wondered that. Life isn't really too good with giving out straightforward, easy-to-process answers. We're constantly, if not, always left on our own to pick up the pieces. Most of the time, the pieces are scattered all over the place and come in so many shapes or forms that it makes it close to impossible to collect. Though, there are moments - rare - where these pieces recollect itself and dance around us to grab our attention. Those moments are what I call 'the little things'.

You see, many of us go through life so blindly that we forget the little things: lining up at the faster lane in a bank or grocery store, escaping just minutes before the rush hour traffic jam, finding money in the back pocket of your jeans, or even receiving a smile from an unknown stranger walking past you in the opposite direction.

We tend to forget the joy and significance of the little things because we're always so busy trying to find the ultimate - the 'big one'. But here's the thing, kids: there is no 'big one'. It doesn't exist. The 'big one' is just an accumulation of all the little things we overlook. By completely ignoring the little things, you will never find true happiness. No matter how happy you think you are - think again.

We're not complete.

With so much going on in this world, we never are and we never will be - and that's the beauty of it.
